Why Charter Quinte
A Quinte charter is the shortcut. In peak fall season, the guides berthed at Picton alone represent more than 100 years of combined experience.
Most fall charters run big, enclosed boats with heated cabins. You troll in comfort, and when a rod loads up, the captain hands it to you and coaches the fight. It's ideal for first-timers, families, and anyone who wants a trophy without buying a boat.

Book Early
The famous fall window is short, and top captains fill their calendars months ahead. Spring charters for resident walleye are easier to book and great for kids.

What to Expect
Trips of 4 to 8 hours, all rods and tackle supplied, and catch-and-release strongly encouraged on big fish. You need a valid Ontario fishing licence; everything else is usually included.
Winter guides offer heated ice huts with bait and shuttle service, often between $120 and $200 per person for a full day. Charters cluster around Picton, Belleville, Napanee, and Deseronto. Check availability below or ask at any local tackle shop — everyone knows the captains.
